Im in the midst of buying my components and have hit a dilemma.

I'm buying the windows 7 and hard drive bundle, and i am just wondering, can I install the copy of windows 7 on that HDD, then in the futire upgrade to an SSD then re-install it on the SSD?

How do i go about such an operation? Format the HDD, disconnect it, plug in the SSD and then boot to drive? Could I do that with the oem copy of windows 7? would anything need ot be done on the registration? i.e. activation key thing?

And what is the difference between an OEM copy of windows 7 from a retail version?

Sorry for all this, but if im spending £750 to £800 on a pc i just want to be sure

Cheers fellas

You can buy the components and build a fast gaming PC for under £500. Presuming you have a monitor and Windows 7 Disc.... got to admit your post is a little hard to understand ...

Should be fine. The OEM Licence is tied to the Motherboard so providing you don't change that then your ok. You might have to activate over the phone just when you reinstall.
