Few Questions - What to pick?

Hey there,

I have always had desktop computers, but decided that this time I want the convenience of being able to take my computer around with me, or play in bed, on the sofa... as I am a hardcore gamer, but also thoroughly enjoy watching movies online, or dvd/bray discs from the local blockbuster!

If anyone would like to please give me their thoughts on what make/model would be suite my needs, I have looked online but for some reason I cannot find a computer that has everything I want in it.... it is either a full blown multimedia center or a pure gaming powerhouse, and each lacks the others needs... *poor graphics card or no blu-ray etc*

My budget is around 2 grand. Is there anything in this region or cheaper that would be able to do what I am looking for?

I am currently thinking of the Dell XPS Gaming Laptops however it is very disapointing that they do not give you the option to get a biometric fingerprint reader, I would be sold if they had this...

I have looked at the custom build laptops, and although are very nice, seem a lot more expensive than the Dell XPS Gaming Laptops if not roughly around the same price... which is not a seller for me imo as I am one of the people who loves the aesthetics of the outside just as much as the gear its made of inside.

Have a look at Alienware? But they are probably more overpriced. Id go with OCUK if i had the cash.
