gathering parts for a new build with WC and have a few questions about options.
1. is there any difference between the D5 tops by EK and alphacool? Looking to get the black acetal one of either just wondering if they differed due to price difference?
2.And with fan controllers, is there much difference between Lamptron FC2 and the Zalman ZM-MFC1 Plus. other than aesthetics.
Cooling will consist of;
D5 vario,
360 Rad,
3GT 1850 fans,
Phobia black nickle 250 Res.
all in a 700D

The Alphacool tops actually perform pretty near to the EK tops if not the same I believe, either way it's not a substantially big enough difference to notice in real time use. The FC2 allows for greater wattage per channel so you have the capability to power more high powered fans or more fans on one channel (if you need it of course). The build quality from the Lamtron controllers are top notch and I would heartily recommend it.
