Here are a few images that I would like you to critic please if possible.

Butterfly.jpg

A butterfly from my garden. There is a slight saturation of the colours and usm.

mobo%20bw.jpg

Experimenting with DOF on a mobo mounted on the wall in my dad's office. Just simple converison to B/W.

mobo%20colour.jpg

The coloured verison of the one above. Slight saturation of the colours and a little usm.

Sunset%202.jpg

Taken on friday night in Glenavy, overlooking Lough Neah. Curves and saturation of colours and usm. Might clone out the wire on the right.

sunset%203.jpg

Same location. Cloned out three wires in the sky. Saturation, curves and usm.

All ExIf is still within the images. All shot with Nikon D50 and kit lens 18-55mm. Any comments and critic welcome. Thanks for looking.

I think these pictures are stunning, the sunsets have been captured amazingly on that camera.

Also, the colour on that butterfly is immense.

Hi, overall a very good collection of pictures, nicely done. Some thoughts on individual shots:

#1 - Lovely shot - nice simple composition, nicely exposed and well processed. I love the colour in that one.

#2/3 - I prefer the colour version

#4 - fantastic colour and detail in the sky and the composition is nice. Overall I think it's a cracking shot but definitely needs the wire cloning out.

#5 - Again I really like it, the sky is spot on but my attention keeps being drawn to the bottom right (is that a person sat on the front of the shelter type thing?)

Hope this was helpful,
Scott.
