Going to rebuild my watercooling this weekend probably, wanted to ask a few things.

Im going to buy all new tubing, but its been so long since i built it that i cant remember the size i need. The inside diameter of my current tubing is 1/2 inch, so i assume thats the tubing i need?

second question is order of the loop.

At the moment its setup as follows:

Pump - Rad - Cpu - Gpu - Chipset - Res however i think it may be reversed by accident :P

Whats the best loop? I assume Chipset - Cpu - Gpu - Res - Pump - Rad would be.

Thanks

1/2 inch barbs - Use 7/16ths ( Mastercleer ) tubing.

Loop order will make little/no difference - Reservoir before pump is the main thing.

All went well, except i couldnt get the mastercleer tubing onto my pump (DD D4 I think) lol.

Luckily i still had a bit of my previous danger den tubing left:p

hmm well its a bit late now.

To be honest, even the normal barbs for the blocks wernt as easy as my previous tubing. I guess its a good thing tho, less likely to leak.

The pump was a pain even with my old tubing, so i still think it would have been stupidly difficult :p

I had the same problem. Hot water made the 7/16" easy to get over my 1/2" barbs but the built in ones on my Swiftech D5 pump was a nightmare. It required loads of heating, the use of a screwdriver and considerable brute force!

I thought at one point it wasn't going to go over.

On the plus side if it ever leaks I'll eat my hat!

When i was cutting tubing to size, i just pushed the tubing on a bit onto the barbs to test length etc. when i came to take them off to put clamps on, i actually had a lot of difficulty taking them off my cpu block lol, thought i was going to snap the mobo tbh.

Based on that i should think it wont ever leak.
