ive had this too. not sure what triggers it, but its always with multiple tabs open. normally shutting down FF works for me though
Thanks, closing FF doesnt do anything for mind. I do had a number of tabs open-will try closing them

If you're getting no sound in Flash videos it's an issue with Flash itself. What do you mean "doesn't render correctly"?
Looks like it didn't load the CSS. Some adblocker getting in the way?
Usual drill too, try safe mode (should be a shortcut in your start menu) and/or a new profile.
I repeat it in just about every Firefox thread I post in, and in 99% of cases a new profile fixes whatever problem is being had.
You can copy bits across (and choose which profile you use), but copying the profile wholesale will only copy the problem with it.

It's very unlikely. So in a completely new profile, no bookmarks, no settings, no extensions, YouTube appears without the CSS?
Dont get any sound from any websites in FF. IE is fine. I uninstalled reinstalled various adobe software. But before all that I still had the problem
If it's sites like YouTube then that uses Flash and IE uses a different Flash plugin to Firefox (did you use the uninstaller on the Adobe site?). It seems to be a common issue though, with a whole load of different solutions, but it's never happened to me.
It's not common to 3.5 either.
Extremely unlikely to change anything but I guess it's worth a shot.

You don't have Firefox's volume turned right down in the Windows audio mixer, do you?

I've had no luck in going back to 3.0.11![]()

Hehe, no worries![]()

My excuse is that Firefox only shows up in the mixer if it is producing sound. So I never noticed.![]()
