FF 4 Advance :)

Bought this the other day as always enjoy the Final Fantasy games but this one just seems suited to a handheld

Any ideas on how long it takes to complete it?

40-50 hours. Although I understand the GBA version has an extra dungeon that might take a while to do. I have the PS version.

It's a sweet game, you won't be dissappointed. I love it because it's quite weird in places. You'll probably understand what I mean after you've played it.

Got it myself. Not gotten far, but seems like fun. Typical FF really, run about, have ATB battles with strange creatures, try to save the world. Not that I'm complaining mind, there's something about the ATB system which makes it suprisingly addictive. Plot seems a bit poor though. Was always hard to convey good emotion with sprites, but even then it's a bit clunky. Lots of "Oh hi, person I've just met, I LOVE YOU DON'T LEAVE ME" type stuff.

Overall though, fun enough. Just gotten to the under/dark world type place, no idea how far in that is.

hm, if you're not too bothered about having super-strong charaters and finding all the secrets etc then it can easily be done in 30+ hours.

There aren't really many secrets in 4. Unless more has been added for the GBA version. But yes it could quite easily be done in under 30 hours. I'd say 40 ish is about average though.
