I've seen a lot of people on here claiming they have the orginal FF7 sealed.

Well for those that don't

FF7 Sealed zomg !

Now is your chance. By the way its not me selling it (Note I am NOT the SELLER)

But holy crap just short of 4grand for a sealed ff7 game.

Mental !

I bet somewhere there is one of those sitting in a bargain basket of an electrical shop for 50p

Hmmmmm....... A sealed copy (assuming it's a genuine unopened copy and not a repackaged 2nd hand job that I suspect it may be....) that cost's four grand that I can simply 'have', or an eight quid copy downloaded from PSN that I can actually play again and again....

It's a toughie....

(P.S. I'm well aware that anyone who might buy this would already have numerous copies that they will indeed play regularly anyway, but I don't think my post is any sillier than paying four grand for a game!!! :p)

As mentioned really its going to be really hard to tell if it is a re-seal or not.

Heck I could buy a cheapish "mint" copy of FF7 and get my father to re-seal it professionally at his work place.

mmmm *ideas in head start* NO NO must not think along those lines.

I have to say I would love it to add to my collection but to be honest 4 grand for a sealed game that MIGHT not be geniune is well silly imo.

That said I have various versions of FF7 so :p

Haha, look at the "completed listings", one sold with buy it now for £1019.99 and another sold for £23.22!! What idiot thought it was worth a grand?!

I'd be very surprised if they actually paid for it though.
Ebay is full of completed listings where non-serious bidders won and have no intention of paying

Where can you see this?

Also, this is the first FFVII PAL version I've seen sealed, pretty cool, you see US and JP copies all the time. The going rate seems to be about 500 pounds though, this is way too expensive. I'd also be wary if it was real or not

There are a few good items on atm, spied this, http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/FINAL-FANTASY...mationCharacters_Anime_SM?hash=item518db3e960

I've got that. :p Theres also the uber rare Cloud and Sephiroth Statue on at the moment for 3000 pounds. It is actually worth that much though for some insane reason, people seem to be buying them anyway.

I love this kind of thing, where's Strife?

He's our resident Final Fantasy expert!

:p I've kinda given the collection a rest for a bit, going to start again with XIII items I think, as it looks like it's going to be good.

£500 was a typical price in 2005 for the US copy. Around that time there were also sealed copies that had "hole punches" in the upper left corner which lots of sellers weren't pointing out in the auctions.

I would guess the PAL version sealed without any defects will be worth at least £1000 IF there are not any other copies showing up online.

I was a die hard collector up until 2006 but I haven't looked around since then so I guess I could be wrong.
