Didnt know what part of the forum to put this in but could someone create me a profile that will increase the quality of my DVD's?

Im currently on a 22" widescreen panel, i had a go at it myself and it looks better but when people move the characters bodies get split into very thin lines.

Any help much appreciated.

VLC uses the same codec as ffdshow.

i uninstalled ffdshow and started a dvd up, used VLC for ages, video was stuttering kept having a 2 second slow mo thing every 2 seconds, same with WMP.

Might be because my DVD RW +/- is old, dont think it makes a difference but it is 4-5 years old.
