If you've ever heard of DDR, those dance mat things :p , its the same but with your keyboard. Just use your arrow keys as the arrows move through the picture things at the top. You can change the type of music too - hopefully not a repost :( .

A guy I know is stupidly good at this. It's just bonkers the speeds he gets to, he's also great at DDR and is trying to fill up the expert leaderboard at the beach arcade in Aberdeen. Boggles the mind.

Yeah the DDr ones.... I saw a guy in canada, set it to use both players (Only him playing), leant back on the rail, whacks it up to max difficulty and off he goes. Greats and Prfects galore. His upper body didnt move, just his blur of legs. Wtf!!???

my mate can do things like that except he also implements some breakdancing into it so like he uses his arms aswel, its amazing when he does it at like an arcade in London with everyone watching!!!

DDR IMO isn't as good as Pump It Up - the Korean? version and it's a 4 diagonal and 1 middle step, loads more stunts and team dancing than DDR.

Edit: Linky

There's a fantic bit of (free and open source) software called Stepmania, that emulates most of these kinds of games. Unfortunately the official DDR songs etc are copyright and thus illegal to download, but there are plenty of community made songs and stepfiles out there.

If your good enough Pump It Up looks so much cooler than DDR, I tried Pump It Up once and it was too hard for me for some reason  , so i went back to DDR(which im only average cant do no breakdancing moves, etc tho :( )

It isn't that hard - I've got th PC-CD version and I practice the steps with my fingers on my keyboard - like a FFR-ish, then relate it to using my feet, not very good at it but people aren't born to dance like them in the clips - takes practice.

It's a bootleg from a mate from Hong Kong.
Ocassionally, you'll find a PC port version on that auction site.
Oh cool,I once asked my mate to get me DDR on PC when he went to HK guess what he did?He came back with a PS2 version and said "I couldn't find a PC version so i got you a PS2 one"(stupid region locked PS2 game!) :( :o
