currently with zen - 5 down and ~1 meg upstream 50Gb for 25 quid a month
FTTC is now available 'max' 31 down and 11 meg up
50Gb per month is 30 quid plus VAT, 100 Gb is 38 quid plus VAT

my phoneline is with zen already, just not sure if i need the extra speed or not, or will even notice the difference or not. i don't want to switch ISPs either

current monthly usage is 40-50Gb per month with a mixture of linux isos, iplayer and youtube

do i need a new router for FTTC? current is a draytek 2820n

Your 2820 should be fine, the supplied fttc modem will connect to the Ethernet WAN port.

I've a zen fibre connection and am loving it. Very reliable where I am (Belfast), and giving around 31mbps.

Ditto although I have 40/10 sync. I'm looking forward to trailing the Zen 80/20 product.
