Fibre Broadband - WiFI only - what do I need?

All of the devices in our house are connected via WiFi, and we're about to undergo an upgrade from 100mb ADSL (60mb realistically) to 500mb Fibre connection - WiFi link speed has never been a limiting factor to get the most out of my internet connection.

I've currently got a couple of these Mesh WiFi 6 access points, so I know I can beam at 500+ mb plus speeds round the property - https://www.tp-link.com/uk/business-networking/omada-sdn-access-point/eap610/

Other than ensuring the devices able to connect at WiFi 6 link speeds is there anything else I need to consider?

I'm sure you mean VDSL (80mb) or even G.fast (330mb), ADSL was only limited up to 24mb depending on distance to exchange.

How are the mesh units connected to each other? If via wireless as well that could potentially be a bottneck. If they all have ethernet backhaul then you should easily get max speeds when in the same room as them.

I'm not sure what your question is - are you saying that you already have Wi-Fi 6 access points installed in your house and they provide decent coverage? If that's the case then you need to do nothing.

Sorry, it's rudimentary copper connection currently - assume VDSL2 based on the speed paid for.

The router is plugged to a gigabit POE switch which in turn is connected to the access points - https://www.tp-link.com/us/business-networking/unmanaged-switch/tl-sg1008p/

Think I just need these for each PC in the home? https://www.tp-link.com/us/home-networking/usb-adapter/archer-tx20u-plus/

Essentially, yes! Just making sure I've the right infrastructure to benefit / utilise a 500mbps connection

In that case your access points should be able to provide full fibre speeds seeing as they're connected via ethernet. Even WiFi 5/ac is enough for 500mb, 6 is more than enough (I get roughly 900mb odd on WiFi 6 5GHz).

Those adapters will become limited by USB speeds. Personally I would prefer a PCIe solution with extendable antennas.

All sorted, and all PCs working amicably over WiFi - soooo good!!
