Hi Guys

I live in a rented house and am on ADSL broadband at the moment. I'm thinking of switching to Fibre Optic broadband. If I move on, how is the next tenant going to be affected? Will their only option then be the more expensive Fibre Optic broadband, or can they opt for a lesser service on the Fibre Optic line?

I need to get permission from the landlord, so I just want to know how it might affect future tenants.

Thanks

No, as the change is done at the local cab which a BTOR engineer will do as part of the order. You shouldn't need land lord permission either, it doesnt effect the house unless a new socket needs to be installed or re-located but if you're on ADSL then they may change the faceplate and that's it
