Fibre socket question - will normal ADSL work?

Hi everyone, I've just moved to a house which has a fibre socket BUT no fibre service in the area (FTTC cabinet installed - not powered).

Will normal ADSL work with a filter plugged into the master socket? Or will I need a new socket?

Yes, its got the little socket above the normal voice plug.

So, I can dispense with the filter and plug directly in?

Does it need a 2-wire or 4-wire cable?
