what exactly is wrong with this engine i hear a lot of bad things about it

so do they do a reasonable amount of mpg or absoloute crap for a 1.3?

erm right i did a whatcar mpg check on both the 1.3 encore and 1.25 lx, these are the results,

Town mpg 32.5
Out of Town mpg 47.9
Average mpg 40.9

- 1.25 LX

Town mpg 32.5
Out of Town mpg 48.7
Average mpg 40.9

- 1.3 Encore
