Failing to find out here, Does anyone know what the climate pack offers over the standard Zetec on a MK6.5 Fiesta (Post-Facelift)?
That would make sense, Noted the one I looked at had both electric mirrors and heated windscreen. Didn't note it had Air Conditioning though, Bonus.
Does anyone know if there is a way to tell if it has the Aux in port fitted just by the model? Or would I have to look specifically at this car?
Thats what I'm confused at, Mine is registered as a climate pack but I cant figure out what is extra. The dials are just the standard ones.Mine looks nothing like that but is registered as a climate pack. Still have the conventional 3 knobs for speed, heat and direction.
As above, This one is a climate one, But doesn't have those dials?Climate pack just means that it has climate control, cars without it still have Air Conditioning but still have conventional knobs controlling temp/direction/power.
Climate pack looks like this:

Non-climate pack:

Getting a mk6.5 with CC is rare any rocking horse poo though, heated windscreens are standard fit across the range IIRC.
Yeah, If its fitted next to the gearstick, Then it looks like mine doesn't have one. Will definitely have to get one though, Can't imagine not listening to my own music (CD doesn't quite cut it)AUX input could be specified from new but not very often chosen on lower spec models, you can buy the AUX input kit which is a 10 minute fit and can be routed into the glove box, you can put it next to the gearstick if you want but you have to drill it, the kit comes with the fittings to mount it there though.

How easy is this for a complete noob? This is more appealing if the hole is already partially there and its easier to access rather than in the glovebox.I bought the kit for mine & fitted it next to the gearstick. The plastic surround has a template already marked out for the hole on the underside which is handy.
Very easy to retro fit as long as you take it easy with the drilling as not to crack the plastic.

The things im concerned about - Getting the surround off and does the wire easily run down from the radio?
Are there any guides?
