Got this game sent through last week on rental, and have just got round to giving it a go. Obviously I don't have the instructions, so I am a little confused...

First thing is, the menus are doing my head in. Whoever though they were intuitive or well designed wants a bullet :p

Secondly - is there no way just to set up your own, simple league or cup? All I can see is a 'management' mode, where you have to take into account finances etc - something I have no interest in!

Also, what's the 'lounge' option for?

Hopefully all will become clear before I give up and continue with PES6 :D
 
Not sure which rental service you use, I'm with Boomerang and they have PDF's of the manuals for members.

However OT:

AFAIK no way to set up a custom league that ive found, i never dabbled with finances in Manager Mode though tbh, just played the games.

The Lounge is just challenges and stuff i think, however ive not really used it much :)
 
Right, that's it. Whoever mentions Gears O War from now on needs to be shot on sight, including me.

I don't see what the hell using copied games or not has to do with my thread - Christ, you get jumped on even if you've never even mentioned it. At least I don't advertise the fact like some people on here...

As it stands I AM playing a rented version of FIFA - from Swapgame if you must know - and you don't get anything that explains the various game modes. So it was a very legitimate question.

Mods - please close this thread, waste of time asking.

Yeah, theres no way to set up a custom league. Its just manager mode as far as I know. Manager mode is quite fun, but it feels a bit half hearted. You dont really need to do anything, but a few transfers work wonders as my team is NUFC ;) .

I've not played the lounge bit, but I think thats where you have games against mates on one console.

Hope that helps a bit anyway.

P.s. Anyone getting a bit fed up of warez talk cropping up in every single thread recently?? :rolleyes: Its getting boring!

And yes, I'm getting fed up. Whether I download games or not, there was absolutely no need for the first reply to contain what it did. I don't make many threads, so for one to be trashed straight away is frustrating.
