Fifa 07 for the 360

Hi guys I have brought this game today for the 360 but I cant seem to find a way to change the control settings to use the D pad instead of the analogue stick, does anyone know how to do this ?

I don't know about Fifa 07, but I know in Fifa 08 (which is apparently a LOT better btw) you can only use the analogue sticks as the d-pad is used for on-the-fly tactics.

Oh right thats just made me regret buying this and also not getting Fifa 08, think I will have to look into Pro Evo instead.

I have 07 and its got d pad support for sure. In the control menus its know as new digital or classic digital depending on if you a want fifa or PES button layout.

The only options I have found in controller setting is anologue classic & anologue new

FIFA is designed to be used with the sticks. I'm a d-pad man for Pro Evo, but I wouldn't even consider using the d-pad with FIFA even if I had the option to.

It just seems too sensitive with the analogue stick you tend to run past and into people

Fifa 08 is excellent (from experience) and for me, leagues ahead of PES2008 in every department. With the addition of 5 v 5 online too, it only makes me believe it's even further ahead.

Whats that 5 v 5 all about then ?

You go on a team with 4 other human players playing 1 specific position against a team of 5 other people. 6 players on your team (and theirs) are still A.I., but the potential is there. There were rumours of 10 vs 10 online in the new year, but I know a lot of people really enjoy playing 5 on 5.

to the OP: must echo the general opinion re FIFA 07. This game drove me crazy! Your team AI in single player is appalling and i gave up trying to get a non laggy game on live. Avoid at all costs mate, as it'll ultimately annoy you.
