On a side note related to this mode at TGS Sony demoed (well more an idea) that you could connect a PSP to the PS3 and this would display the character you was controlling ala be a pro mode, but all the action was normal camera view on the TV screen via the PS3. So you could play a four player be a pro mode on one console with 4 PSP each displaying your own player and the TV the whole game. Sounds a bit confusing if you ask me but I can see what there trying to do.

It's great, real fun. You have a rating bar so bad passes, good passes, dribbles, shots, hustling etc etc are all scrutinised and whether you did them well etc. Great alternative to the normal match.

Its not just the ability to control one player, its how its all integrated. Kick off did it back in the late 80's with Player Manager, it was great.

is the "be a pro" in the pc version?

haev it on wii so far , and it doesent appear to be in there any where

Other than "a patch will be released" and "hopefully fully working by FIFA 2010"...

I don't think so... I'd expect something around end of January mid February tbh, as thats when they released the transfer patch and team updates last season for Fifa... so you'd think something may be put into the game by then?

it seems that the behind the player mode isnt in the pc version, the view for play as a pro on pc is apparently the normal playing view.

hopefully a patch will eb released it fix that
