Fifa 08 Demo Dated

EA Sports has given an official launch date for Fifa Soccer ’08 for the PS3, Xbox 360, and Nintendo Wii.

EA Sports has revealed that FIFA ’08 will release on September 28, 2007.

The PC and Xbox 360 will have demos of the game which will be available as of August 27th.

now will it be better than pro evo? its been getting better and better and i keep hoping it'll atleast level with pro evo. No competition has cause konami to become damn complacent and id like to see more competition between them. Fifa has the potential to be amazing, they have the licenses, the presentation, they just need to hir some ex footballers or something to show them how its meant to be played.

FIFA 07 on Xbox - Pretty good compared to older FIFA's
FIFA 07 on 360 - Worst football game I have ever played. Rubbish on so many levels.

I hope that they step up their game for FIFA 08 on the 360, although I am pretty sure that Pro Evo will be better still imo

I was quite disapointed with the 360 version also as it lacked a lot of the xbox features, also where was there no skill?! :mad:

All the early sports games on the 360 were pretty underwhelming, i think fight night was the first one to deliver.

Fight night was excellent, though the carrer did get quite boring. I remember trying it on my hdtv and the quality of the graphics blew me away

actually i disagree, although it had FAR FAR less features and Konami are lazy little ***** for screwing 360 fans over like this. The gameplay itself was much much better on the 360 imo. I dont really miss the edit function because i never use it, what i do miss is:

Saving replays, give me a single damn reason why i cant do this when i could on pro evo FOUR on the xbox.

After match info: Why cant i see who scored the goals?!?!?!?

Training: Wheres it gone?!?!?

I think Konami are the worst culprits for releasing an unfished game, i cant see why they couldn't add it as DLC.

Indeed i prefered PS2 version thought 360 was awful.

Also i thought Uefa was quite an improvement over Fifa 07 only thing i hated was shooting which just to floaty. I like the freedom in Fifa games though Pro Evo to much on the rails but i still enjoy playing Pro Evo over Fifa/Uefa.

Reading the things in Fifa 08 sounds promising tricks are in also a lot of info on net but magazine scans so cant post here.

it wont take much for it to be better than the next gen version of pro evo 6 !

The next-gen versions of FIFA 08 have the same leagues as the current-gen versions.

Aye, it was my major gripe of the 07 version...Had to wait till the Fifa Champions League came out to play Celtic (outside Pro Evo) and even then they looked shoddy in comparison.....Their strips were god awful!....That kinda thing is sacrilege

Ah, the cone dribbles etc.. Yeah, they were ace.

I would say, for me, every aspect of PES6 is worse on the Xbox360 than on the Playstation2. I also think PES 5 and 6 are a step backwards.
