FIFA 09 controller problems

I'm playing Manager mode on Fifa 09 and using a Logitech Rumblepad 2. Problem is though that after a minute or two in game the sprint button decides to stop working!!! It's damn annoying as I can't outrun defenders or chace down attackers.

I have tried two different controllers and the problem is there with both - it works after kick off and I can sprint without a problem, but then after a few minutes of play it all goes pete tongue!!!!!!!!

Ah so it's not just me then. Is there a patch out yet as I have looked around but can't find one?

There is a new patch, yes.

Is there? Do you have a link as the official Fifa one took about ten seconds to install and only mentioned fixes to online play in EU!
