FIFA 09 weirdness...

I might be missing something, but I just played a normal Xbox Live ranked match, played against PSG (I was Inter) and they had Cantona playing up front? What is going on? Have I changed my settings somehow?!

Its a glitch that people are using to make dream teams I believe

Yep it's the cheats using a glitch to have dream teams. Played a guy who chose wigan so I played with espanyol and he had every single top player in his team. Lost the game but it wasn't a humiliation 5-4 and to top it off the guy was ranked 160th overall (PS3). Now whenever I play I watch the intro which shows the lineups and quit if it's a glitched team (doesn't credit against you as long as you quit before the first 5 in game minutes)

I've only seen this today on the 360 (probably luck I didn't see it before). Don't have a huge amount of friends who play it so it has kind of ruined online play

Yeah its a right faff on getting a fair game now, I'm constantly having to quit out of the game. Bloody annoying.

I have a "dream" team to play with friends, although I wouldn't say it was an outstanding side. Its 5* but no better than the real ones. I will bring it out on a quick ranked game if I notice that my opponents teams stats dont quite add up.

Although I like nothing better than beating the cheats.

Seen this a few times as well, really annoying and I just usually quit the match straight away. Can't be bothered to deal with it tbh.

Online play on FIFA really is a mess, you get loads of these people with dream teams and when you do play someone with a normal team if you go ahead by 2 or 3 goals or if you are winning just before the match is over they quit. They really need to sort these issues out for FIFA 10
