Fifa 11 PC and Xbox differences?

Hey guys,

Just put Fifa 11 on my laptop, loaded it up and started a manager mode.

First thing I notice is that the ui looks like fifa 10 more than the fifa 11 i have on my xbox....

Is this just the way it is? Basically im saying that fifa 11 on pc manager mode looks like fifa 10 manage mode, nothing like the fifa 11 manager mode on xbox...

I'm confuddled....

FIFA 11 on PC is pretty much FIFA 10 on 360/PS3 yeah. Albeit with a couple of FIFA 11 features (like the better faces) and bug fixes etc

mine has terrible performance and doesnt ever stop lagging for some reason, i just uninstalled it. Think i'll wait till they make a decent effort of it before playing it.

fifa 11 runs great for me,

windows 7
the last football game i get was pes 2010 (long time pes fan) i tried pes 2011 and it was awful,so i played the demo of fifa 11 and really liked it,So i bought it

was not really a fifa fan,but this fifa 11 has taken me.

I was also wondering, I've played a bit of FIFA 11 on XBox 360 and the season mode clearly states where the promotion and play-off positions are but on PC it doesn't.

Does this mean that you cannot get promoted on PC?

i found that iv i ran fifa on lowest settings i would get really bad stuttering in game, but if i set everything to high and full AA i don't have any stuttering, i don't know why it's like that but might work for you also.

Fifa on PC is pointless. Utterly pointless. EA have been milking it for the last 5+ years.

Maybe if you dont have a console, otherwise its the best football game currently available.

Does anyone know? I was destroying the league with Charlton but now I'll be lucky if I finish 6th. I don't know if that'll mean I'll be in the play-offs or what.

It does have promotion and playoff places.

I cant really go back to the pc version after playing this years console one, I hope they bring us up to speed next release. The ball physics seem much better on the console. Crossing is also fairly pointless on the pc version as their keeper will just come and catch the ball without being challenged most of the time. The pc version doesn't even have the option for handballs, I've had countless goals stopped by the computer players flailing their arms about!

Didn't EA say last year that Fifa 10 didn't have the same engine as Fifa 10 on consoles as PC's couldn't manage it. Ridiculous excuse. And one year later, PC's suddenly shoot forward in cutting edge spec ... my arse.

Yeah crossing is rubbish. It's not worth getting a console though. I'll just have to make do with the PC version and hope the next one will be better.

If FIFA 12 for PC is the same as FIFA 11 for XBox, I'll be happy.

It should be as good or better than console version in my opinion, but FIFA 11 on 360 on FIFA 12 PC would be nice still

PC has just 1 difference that I noticed from the consoles, the penality system is the dummed down fifa10 version. In the console ones there is composure and power, and you aim your shot by an invisible reticule, while in the PC you hold a direction and depending on your power it will past the goal or not.

Fifa11 is great on my pc, looks amazing and has absolutley no load time. There is a 1.2patch to fix bugs

Yeah, I've noticed the penalty thing.

Is it just me or (with any football game) the best thing to do when you are goalkeeper is not to move at all?
