Fifa 12 online stutter

Hey people

I am having issues with Fifa 12 online, every single game I play online the game stutters like crazy. I found a post telling me to do this:

1. Download & Install Latest version of Riva Tuner : http://downloads.guru3d.com/download.php?det=163
2. Run D3DOverrider.
3. Force VSync & Tripple Buffering ON.
4. Open My Documents > FIFA 12 > fifasetup.ini & Add this line SCREEN_SLEEP=0 & save. [YES 0 not 16 as you are using D3DOverrider]
5. Run fifaconfig.exe and turn OFF VSync.
6. From ATI Catalyst turn OFF Vsync & Tripple Buffering.
That should remove the LAG & Micro Stuttering if you are using an ATI Card


After doing this I played two more online games and they were very very smooth. Is there anyway to get D3DOverrider to autostart when I play Fifa 12, or maybe there is a better way to get rid of this stutter.

I know you can enable D3D to start with windows, but I guess it would use it's settings everytime I play anygame, which I don't really want.

Have you tried the games micro stutter fix?

In the video options before you start the game, theres a "amd micro stutter" checkbox, or something like that.

Might fix it for you.

Thanks for the reply, yeah I did have that ticked but for me at least it made no difference. Only way I found to fix was above. Does anyone else have this micro stutter issues or is it just me

Single player is fine, just happens online. I thought it was lag at first but I played 5 games with different people like it until I found the above fix. Well I say fixed, last two games were perfect anyway.
