Fifa 13 Loading Screen Fix?

Is there a working fix for the stuck on the 'Messi' loading screen?

It ran when first installed on release, but after re-installing it for my son, it just hangs on the messi loading screen.

I have tried deleting the my docs Fifa 13 folder/unticking 'read only' on all said files too to no avail.

Any other suggestions or fixes?

I had this when moving from win7 to win8 using the same game files or files from disc...

I managed to get it working by doing a clean install direct from origin then doing a origin file check thing which updated a further 70mb or so.

Thanks pgi, I uninstalled it last night and put it through the download/install process and deleted the my docs Fifa13 too.

I'll see if that's cured it.

It did for me, it was the only solution I could find when I had the issue, origin games seem very picky with game files unlike steam.

I haven't seen this problem in FIFA but i sometimes get a black screen when i play online. I get stuck on a black screen in the arena, i can hear my player running around and shooting but i can't see anything. To fix it I have to ALT+F4 and restart the game which is so frustrating.
