FIFA 14 problem !

Hello, ive recently just purchased FIFA 14 and ive noticed today that in game, while having a match, the game isnt very smooth, every so often it kind of lags. I am definetly sure its not because of my hardware because i have 7970 and using fraps, the fps in still at 60fps. Does anyone have any idea why this might be happening?

Turn off Vsync is what fixed it for me without any FPS lock, you'll get over 400 FPS, but hey, you're at like 2ms latency gaming

It's in the settings.
Should be a tickbox for "Wait for vertical sync" make sure it's unticked.
And make sure the radio button (IIRC that's what they're called) is on no lock on FPS.
