FIFA 15

Sounds like it will make a great offline game. FIFA always way to 'scripted' online for me. I think I'll buy this for purely offline play and enjoy it without the rage.

This will have a manager mode/be a pro mode still for offline doesn't it?

A single moment can say a great deal about a game’s design philosophy. For me, that moment came in a game between me (as Man City) and the CPU (as Chelsea). Pablo Zabaleta won the ball with a crunching challenge on Eden Hazard; the Belgian hit the deck, with Zabaleta about to stride onto the loose ball, and into acres of space. Meanwhile, his fellow Argentine Sergio Aguero, anticipating an unfolding counter-attack, accelerated into a sprint. But instead of running forward as I squeezed the right trigger, Zabaleta suddenly held both hands up, as if to say 'no foul'. By the time the player responded to my prompt, Nemanja Matic had seized upon the opportunity, intercepting the ball and launching another Chelsea sortie.

Great, just what I want, more events screwing me out of control of my players that I have no influence over, **** that. Not even going to bother.

My son has just got this and what's the best way for him to get coins for packs that doesn't involve buying points with real money?

He wants to play his friend who has a fairly ok team from what he says. Obviously my son only has mainly bronze players.

Also any tips for is starting out? It's all a bit sensory overload lol

Online matches or single player?

We did the starter tournament so we got a few thousand coins now. Do you just search players in the transfer market?

That guide says sell everything, but it doesn't look like I can sell my initial players, is that correct?

Also does 1 contract card cover everyone or does each player need a contract card?

So online seasons is a good way to get my son some money so he can start to build a squad?

I've told him to think of players from the EPL as a starter team, he want's Balotelli but because we only have about 3,000 coins we have no chance of getting him yet. Have to grind grind grind.

Do the manager tasks to get you free none profitable Gold pack.

Then grind seasons or tournys. 10games = about 4k coins

Will need 15k for a decent team.

i would go something like

Young- Bony- chamberlain
Tiote-- Gerrard-- Fellini
Shaw-K Toure-Onuoho-rafael
---------hart-----------

Solid team^ which you then can upgrade over time. Or just buy 100k off ebay for £2 and get Balobeast along with other top players. :p

Doesn't that get you banned though?

I have just started too. Got a few packs free with the game and hunted out some bargains. My team is mostly based around Arenal, nothing special about the team but have a 90% odd compatibility.

Only got one free game because we bought it digital.

I don't see the point in spending money to boost our team that quickly, I'll just plough through leagues/tournaments and go that route.

With regards contract cards what doe the numbers mean?

I take it the number sin the bronze/silver/gold thing mean how many matches that extends the contract for, but in the web app what does the number in the grey box over the picture mean? I have three contract cards with the numbers 1, 1 & 7 on. Does that mean how many of those cards I have?

Well it's really the same as spending money on FIFA points to buy packs and get coins that way, so not sure why the holier than thou attitude.

There is no holier than though attitude, I'm new to this whole FUT thing and upon advice of go on to Ebay and buy 100,000 I googled this and I saw an article on the EA site saying this was cheating and EA can ban you/your account/EA account.

It's not really cheating. EA legalise exactly the same thing through themselves; buying coins is just far better value for money.

Is this by buying Fifa points? That's the legit way of doing it and getting waaay less for your money?

anticonscience = spluff alt account :p

Lol.
