I was having a crash-to-desktop problem after country (or language) selection right after starting the game. I researched it on Google and tried all the solutions in different websites and forums. None worked. Then I tried changing Origin username to a shorter one. The initial one was too long and beginning with a digit instead of a letter. And then it stopped crashing and everything worked fine! It took me kind of too long to solve the problem. So, I am just writing this solution here in order to help other people in the future who find this thread via a search engine!
