Fifa 17 not starting

Finally got round to getting Fifa 17 via Origin. I can load it, into the "menu" screen (with Play, Game Settings, and Quit), but when I hit play the splash screen displays for a few seconds, then the program force closes. Any ideas? Thanks!

Do you have any programs that hook into the game for example msi afterburner on screen display?

If you do disable and try again.

Nope, not that I know of. I'm not running anything particularly interesting or special. Could AMD's graphics program (forgotten its name!) be causing the issue?
