FIFA 17

Look OK on my x34 ultrawide with no problems given the aspect ratio. Still looks prettier on the TV and PS4 for some reason though. I like some of the new features though like the fact you can see where corners are going to drop and the ability to aim where said drop happens. Going to take the plunge on PC this year anyway

Usually buy it every year on XB for £40 so £30 isnt too bad. I play the career mode to death as well. Hope theres some mods this year as it will be the first time I've played it on PC really other than 14 which wasnt too good

I still prefer Sensible Soccer if I'm honest...

:)

Cant beat the old, top corner goal from the halfway line! Myself and my friends had to say before each game those goals were not allowed...still scored them if we were losing though :D

Early access starts tomorrow so I signed up for a month to I can get my career mode started.

Some will say its cheating but the first thing I do is,whack it on legendary difficulty, make myself a 90 rated CF and stick myself up front for Newcastle...we need all the help we can get you know! :p

Don't you have to buy the game directly through Origin to get your saves etc to carry over?

I have Origin access so can play tomorrow but game is bought from Cdkeys

I did it with XB1 last year and bought the key online when it came out. Everything worked fine and saves carried over

So ive pre ordered the standard edition through Origin. All i have to do is sign up for Origin Access tomorrow and i can play Fifa for 10 hours ?

Is it restricted to certain game modes or can i play anything within fifa ?

You dont need to pre order to play early...not at those prices for sure!

Just sign up to early access and you can download it when it hits, which they say is the 22nd on Origin

Last year it was everything but Ive read theres no online play this year via early access

Glad to see E.A figured out a way to charge for a 10 hour demo.

Good to see their reputation is undeserved.

They arent. £4 a month for a load of games and the ability to play the first 10 hours isnt charging for a demo. They have an actual demo thats free and you can play as many hours of that as you like...or not

I am curious to know how many people have paid £4 to try the full game and will cancel after the initial month.

E.A know what they are doing.

I'm sure a lot do but its not like thats all you get. Ive downloaded this war of mine, unravel, banner saga and PVZ2. Not bad for £4 really and if you only sub for a month or 2 a year, choosing to do it when Fifa hits is a good way to do it

eh ? the version on origin access is the full game apart from the fact 'the journey' is shortened so people can't complete it in the 10 hours they have access to it for.

edit: oh you mean will we be able to play the full game with no time limitations on origin access after its released... id have thought the answer to that would be quite obvious given it's a brand new game.

Exactly. They never realease brand new games on there people would pay 4 quid, complete it and unsub

Player career? :p

Create a player in the menu's, send him to the team you want and then start a player career, choose a 'current' player and select the one you made. Start with a 90. Or make from scratch if you want progression and play League 1 for the first year. :D

Although I know exactly what you mean. The extra bits, the 'banter' at training, the cut scenes, they can be a bit more fun than the simple straight forward game.

Every year I make myself a 90 rated winger and put myself straight into the Newcastle side! We need all the help we can get lol

Add a keeper and a few defenders too! :p

PC version certainly feels better than the last gen to me, but it also supports 21:9 this time.

Now now Ryan! It's not nice to laugh at others misfortunes :D

I do the same every year. Swap all my supposed stars for future stars and in 3 seasons I'm competing for champs league lol

I have a couple of saves and transfer a few players to see what they play like before I sign them in my main career and Renato Sanches is a BEAST! 88 pace,99 dribbling and 99 finishing on a CM once you train him up a bit! Him and Dembele from Dortmund are outrageous.
