FIFA 24.

Halp!

So my boy uses a laptop to play FIFA 24 but uses his Xbox controller to play it and change menu options etc.

He likes to play one player against AI. He goes into kick off mode and at the point where you choose teams, he can only select his own. He can’t change the AI team. I can’t find how to change the AI team anywhere.

Any ideas what I’m doing wrong?

Ive just tried it now on pc using an xbox controller.

Ive gone Kick Off - Classic Match -

The next screen is team selection. Ive chosen my team on the left, and then pressed "A". And then it highlights the ai team i want to play against, and i can change it from there.

So no idea tbh

Thanks for the reply. Yeh, mine doesn’t. I press A and it goes to the kit selection :/

Try an app called " DualSenseX"
It's an emulator which I have found worked wonders for controller incompatibility on the PC when using console controllers

It seems it was steam that was causing the issue. Some sort of keyboard overlay. Turn steam off, issue resolved.
