Is there a cheat which allows you to quit a game and not register a loss?

ive had a couple of ranked online games now where i am winning and i get a connection with your opponent has been lost message.

In the game i just played i was winning 2-1 and i had just scored number 3 in the 90th minute and as soon as i scored not even before i finish my celebration - i get the connection lost message. (basically destroying his team with villa pace heheh)

There was no hint at all of connection issues so i'm well annoyed especially as im undefeated in open play ranked online for 6 matches (9 if you count people who quit on me grrrr)

I thought if you quit your connection or just quit the game you automatically lose the match. Ive checked my matches online and all the ones which quit using "connection lost msg" dont appear at all.

hrmm ok weird. I was looking in the wrong place - in view player hub ive got the victory

but in my profile stats recent online games - it doesnt appear. (you can tell i dont play ranked so much)

also i was beaten a few games ago it looks like when i was Spain v France 3 - 0 defeat but he was a really good player. How can you tell what rank ppl are?
Ive only been playing more ranked coz ive been winning games

FIFA 09 prolly gets my vote as being best game ive bought for next gen - the game just keeps on giving - i'll prolly be playing right up until FIFA 10 (and after depending on what FIFA 10 is like)

i mean is there any other game you still play loads like 9 months after release?

Andy when you try that on Ps3 it doesnt say whethere they are still in game unfortunately.

nm though another game tonight i won 2-1 scored in 118th min extra time heh and he quit on me but i still got the win no probs.

Just had possibly my worst ever game as a striker on BAP. Previously ive been scoring in every game on bap upfront so im upfront again and i muistve have about 8 or 9 GOOD chances and bugger me i miss them all. I was surprised the captain didnt kick me or change me to somewhere else in the team... and for once we had a good passing team as well lol....ironic. very embarrassing though - almost quit at the shame of it all

Yeah I know the PS3 doesn't let you, in that case you'd need to wait about 10 minutes for the server to reset when the message comes up!

ahh that brings up a classic case on club BAP similar thing happened and we uh "waited" all night for them to quit before us (some of us slept through it) unfortunately they stuck it out longer than us...meh
