Fifa for pc - is it popular?

I use a wired 360 pad, works a charm.

I just can't play online or play UT as every time I attempt to I get disconnected from the EA servers and I haven't managed to work out how to get it stable.

Lots of moaning on forums about it but no solid fixes. I'm doomed to only ever playing career mode by the looks of it.

How did you install the game? If you used the DVD then you will get issues, also make sure your not on WiFi use Ethernet connection instead.

I got it through Origin, and use ethernet going through a pwerline adapter. My next test is going to be to go direct into the router. If that don't work then EA can go suck one.
