Hey guys,

brought this last week for 99p, remembering how much i loved it as a kid.

It hasnt lost its charm 13 years on :D lol. Its brilliant, so simple yet so satisfying to play.

The sound effects are just golden lol haha, crowd realism at its best.

And the best thing about it, that kept me entertained as a kid for hours at a time. Being able to run away from the ref when hes trying to book you, just been running away for 15 minutes lmao it just doesnt get boring

Oh and as we speak its just locked up on me :( boooooo

Get it on Xbox live Arcade please :D :D
 
Fantastic game, Used love it on my mega drive, The crowd was good I allways remember them shouting "EA BARMY ARMY" lol :D

Got Fifa World Cup France 1998 new for the console!

(The only new game I ever purchased!)

Brilliant games, but today the best footie game on the console in my eyes is Football Italia 1990, I play on that so much it is sad even by my sad standards.

Yeah was the best part

I seemed to have lost my touch on it tho :( was a pro once now i cant even beat Qatar lol :X
 
What is annoying is the isometric viewpoint and there are also sweetspots that you can score from everytime. :o

Negative, Kick Off from Anco was much better, the ball didn't stick to your feet and was much better to play.
 
International Superstar Soccer on the SNES (and later Deluxe) was the beginnings of Pro Evolution, it was head and shoulders above most other football games. Striker was pretty awesome though, especially with the indoor option. :cool:
 
I had fifa 95 which was the sequel to fifa original when I was 10 and me and my mate played it for about a solid year, it was so good, we played it also eclusively with crazy ball on so it was just a silly game. Pressing the buttons when you score to make a dum ass sound was fun too. gooooooooooooaaaaaalllllllllll honkkkk bum der bum tannnnnnn.

ahahahah i remember them, one was goooooooaaaaaall, the other was fireworks and the last was a horn. Used to go mad on these buttons when i scored, trying to irritate the person I just scored against. :D
 
Oh I remember that now, and if you pressed it lots of times it just stopped the previous sound. :p

I think that was the headline feature in 1998. :p

1996 plays like treacle now, tried to do 3d I think.
