Fifa online its free to play?

Has anyone seen this or tried it http://fifa-online.easports.com/web/beta/welcome ?

Suppose to be free to? kinda odd for a EA game, looks interesting though.

Any thoughts?

looks like its a beta test. basically you play a limited amount of the game and ea analyse the data before releasing the final product.

It's supposed to be crap. Came out in the U.S a while ago we've only just got it recently over here. It's basically to make up for the PC version of Fifa being rubbish, well, actually that's a lie, it's because EA think that PC's are incapable of utilising the console engine so they are giving PC gamers this.

Worth a try purely because it's free but expect to be disappointed.

This is very similar in game style to fifa 9 and it is deffo more playable than fifa 10 the co op mode is a good crack with your m8,s... and for a freebie i dont think u can really knock it. thats my 2 pence worth added.

Fifa games never appealed to me but Ive given this a go and actually found it good fun esp. as frosti3 says co op mode with friends is good fun. Don't bother with mouse and keyboard get a game pad

If its going to be like the Need for Speed Online then it's probably better to give it a miss.
