FIFA or PES?

FIFA 17 or the latest PES : Which one is easiest to pick up and play, has simple controls and won't confuse a 5 year old or a dad who is out of touch with gaming? [for PS4]

Fifa, depends on if your son doesn't mind pest not having full license for team names etc. If he is aware of teams correct names etc pes might be confusing

I have both and love both but if you're looking for a game that plays well and easy enough for family to enjoy then I'd go with Fifa.
It's also got all the real teams,stadiums etc etc so casual players will love all of that.

PES is a great game and gameplay wise is slightly better...but lacks the overall quality with fake teams (you can add with option files etc but sure you won't want to do that ATM) and bit less of the atmosphere and tv style presentation.

But as I say both great games but PES is more of a grower type of game when FIFA is in your face easy pick up football game

I would say say pes is the better game fifa the eaiest to play up and plany
