Hi all not to sure on this one, hence why I'm asking here.
Ok so i had a 32" tv (old one from years ago) on the wall connected to my PS4. Bought a Toshiba 40L2436DB TV. Connected up all works ok. Put fifa on and i have only played UT at the moment, now when in a match the score and the EA HD sign are right at the top of the picture and the EA HD to the very right of the screen. Also when the extra time comes up you can't make out whats on it due to it being so far over. Now this may have been the case for the other TV, but i just can't remember. Been through the TV settings and also fifa but can't seem to adjust anything.
Whats everyone else like? Not sure if its a fault with the tv or its normal.

Thanks.

Surely you can adjust with the TV? Look harder. Should be aspect ratio settings 16:9, 4:3 etc and a auto adjust option.

Think there might be settings on the ps4 and Fifa to change the display options aswell.

You just need to look harder.

FIFA 15 still has broken display area settings?!? When I played it I had to force the PS4 display area to the smallest size so the score wasn't in the extreme left.

For some ****ing reason EA just couldn't code the game properly

Be warned as its a global setting it will affect other games that use that to tell them where to show the game (effectively letterboxing them). So get used to changing that or just stop playing FIFA 15 cos its **** :p

ps3ud0

Sounds like when my PC overscan's sometimes (using TV as a monitor), but I don't know if this would happen with PS4/TV

it's a problem with the game, i've learnt to ignore it after i fiddled with tv/game settings as well as the console settings.

i use 2 different screens with my ps4 a 24" gaming monitor and a 50" tv and it happens on both so i know it's nothing to do with the screens.

i don't have the issue with any other game so i know it's not the console. therefore the problem is in the game itself. just ignore it who cares how many minutes of ET are left focus on the game and adapt to it if it's going to the wire not the clock. you know you only have seconds left not minutes so either time waste, play safe or start moving it quicker and taking long shots depending on the score.

Hi guys thanks for the heads up. After looking round it is as suggested a fault within the game and certain tv's. Probably why I've not noticed before.
Someone suggested altering the screen in the PS4 menu as a temp fix, but this could also put a thin black line on other games..
