Just downloaded the demo now, and already i think it's the best football i've ever played!

Love the music and amosphere, getting myself really hyped up for the World Cup now.

No one does presentation like EA, and this is absolutely amazing.

First day purchase for me :)

i chose Pro Evo 10 over Fifa 10, do you think it's worth me trading it in for Fifa 10, does it play the same for those of you who have played fifa 10 and the demo?
 
I think it's quite similar to Fifa 10. The gameplay seems a bit slower, the penalties are different and all the players and managers have an extremely good likeness to real life!
 
Didn't even know there was a demo up, will download now.. :)

Probably only a rent for me anyway until the world cup is over..
 
Downloaded on the PS3 and really enjoyed the demo. Yes it's Fifa10 but with tweaks - the graphics look fantastic with players face top notch. This game will capture the tournament's atmosphere and I'm looking forward to the online World Cup part of it.
 
Could just be me, but I thought FIFA used to include a World Cup mode anyway? This doesn't seem true for the newer games though, EA just trying to make more money as usual? :(
 
Yea but its nothing new there is it?
Ill get the demo on sunday or something, dont have fifa10 as my bro already has it, wondering if its worth me getting just as a footy fix.. or holding off a little longer and getting 11.
Whats diff about penas?

There have been World Cup related games for 2006 and 2002 off the top of my head, no idea before that.
 
There was also World Cup 98 as far as I remember as well.

One key thing, have they fixed the stupid goalkeeper rushing out like a headless chicken and ending up in chipped/lobbed goals being scored ALLL the time?

How surprising they fixed it for this game but never bothered doing it for Fifa 10. Depending on user feedback and support for Fifa 11 ( I assume it will have better support as they wont be working on a world cup game) Imay get Fifa 11, but 10 is like the lovechild EA forgot about as soon as it shipped with all their BS excuses.
 
You need your head checking if you buy this over FIFA 10 - you'd be buying a game which is a stripped down version of it which will be worth £1 in 3 months.

You do know there's international teams on the regular game, right? :p

Granted, but the EA cash cow strip out the World Cup from the tournament options. Which is frankly unforgiveable. Why release a football game without a world cup tournament option? Oh wait, we know exactly why. :rolleyes:
 
Dont think theyve had the World Cup option for years

At least we dont have a RTWC edition like we used to ages ago aswell as the WC version

Anyway it doesnt have Club so I dont care anyway :p
