FIFA10 Online 90% Possession

Been playing some fifa online tonight, 10 games and only teams I played against was Man U/Chelsea and Barcelona... :mad:

So I decided to choose a 1 stat team and play the possession game. Keep possession for the whole of the game. The amount of abuse you get for doing this :D
Hey if you can't take the ball off me I'll just keep passing to my players. :cool: Out of the 10 games I played, only 2 played till the end of the game.
 
Wow. Sounds like immense fun for everyone involved.

Most people go online for a game footy for a bit of fun. Those that quit probably don't have the time or patience for people like you.
 
Somebody like the op did this to me the whole game, then in the 88th minute i intercepted one of the passes and scored :D served him right, why would people do that? whats the point in ruinhing someone elses fun?

Exactly, Op sounds extremely childish...I'm not surprised that people quit...not sure if he came on here thinking we'd cheer his act but I don't really see why he got bent out of shape due to people playing as those teams.

Not sure I see the big deal... It's not against the rules to maintain excellent possession, is it?

It's like when Ronaldo was in the Premier League and everyone complained about him showboating with his little dances and whatnot. Just tackle him! And if you can't tackle him, at least accept graciously that he is much, much better than you.*

*Occasional diving notwithstanding.

Yes, it's within the rules, but it's lame and boring.
It's like playing a racing game with low powered cars, and only going fast enough to block whoever is behind you.

Bad example

the idea of racing is to be first and stay first, which means not letting people overtake you ...
 
sorry but the OP is experiencing the exact same thing that made me never play FIFA online again, everybody plays as the 'best' teams, whats the point in everyone playing a team with no notable weakness, fair enough its all in 'good fun' but it gets old really fast, so im gonna say well done OP for figuring out a way to play these 'best team' people and i officially salute you! though thats basically how FC barcelona play in reality and there one of the best teams on the planet :p

Too true, it's always a pleasant surprise when someone picks a much more average team. I pick my team based on the other player's choice. If they go with a league 2 team, so do I. The people I hate are the idiots who refuse to play as anyone but Barca, United, Real or Chelsea, regardless of whether I've picked an average team or not. It gets boring very quickly because you have to pick a similar team to stand any chance!
