Fight Night (360 - Random Difficulty!)

So, I'm going through career mode easily enough. Got a few achievements and just completed the Burger King champ.

Now is it just me and the way I have been training, or does this games difficulty sway massively?

I mean I have loads of normal matches and I do expect to win. Then once in a while I get an opponent that I beat the living hell out of in the first round. Then next match the same happens to me. This all happened in one league if you like.

Like just now, got the BK award in one round. That was supposed to be a big fight, but I got beat up bad the match before. Seems so random that it's not right. I expected, as with most games that the difficulty increases as you progress/train.

Meh, seems easy for GP's though! Will have had my fun by the time I got them all and will trade it in. Good game though!

I've got a couple more awards to win in it, the RAM and then the final one. I agree about some fighters but I guess that's the way it goes.

Yup, the AI does seem to change quite considerably.

All I can say is Sugar Ray Leonard is a man of steel! Remember going the full 12 rounds with him once, just couldn't put him down on the canvas. It was the 12th round. I caught him with a sweet impact punch but just couldn't land the fatal blow! Out of nowhere, he reveresed it and caught me with one! My fighter was so fatigued there was no way I was getting up.:(

Best tactic when you come up against a tought CPU opponent is the low Fraizer haymaker. Just duck and keep using the shot. You'll take a fair few hits in the process but it'll hurt your opponent even more.

I found the career mode rather easy to be honest. It's true that the difficulty does go up but you can win every fight by just using the analogue stick haymaker, if you throw enough eventually one hits

If anyone fancies a rumble online give us a shout, my gamertag is wedgie20

Yeah it's easy enough, but once in a while it's rock hard. Like the above poster said, Sugar Ray was well hard. Went the full twelve rounds and he won on points! How frustrating!

Never had a problem, Balanced style, Haymaker to the body, to the head to the body over and over and over. There is no need to throw any punch other than haymaker in single player mode. I did the whole thing with haymaker alone. Even when you have no punch power left and the CPU is covering to the body they still hurt him.

Its why this game is so poor and over rated. Looks great on the surface but has no depth.

Weave and haymaker and not one opponent should give you trouble.

used the same tactic ruined the game a bit but best way to beat that no dice bloke just keeps on walking into the haymaker upper cut :)

tko 1st round everytime

I just got beaten bad by a Ginger guy gorgot his name but i couldnt beat him, restart after restart, i just gave up on him in the end, now i went to another fight and im losing still, im a bit confused?

I trained nothing but the weight traning until it capped @ 100 then switched to speed and alternated when the power went down

Was doing awesome damage and usually cut the opponent within the 1st couple of hits, from then on its just tap tap tap and he falls down :)

Great game IMO, 1 im sure ill never return

EA could never get AI right even if they tried. The AI does go up a few gears so you need to watch out for that, especially in the Everlast division which is quite hard if you don't pay attention. FN3 is one of those games that I'm keeping, and I've sold quite a few 360 games lately.
