Yup, itd probably pop like a paintball. Mmmm.
How about this.
We don't fight the dog and just leave it alone.
If it comes at you dont run away just stand there and stare at it. It wont see you as a treat and will leave you alone.

i heard if you pull a dogs front legs apart it'll tear its heart in half*
*disclaimer: I heard this when I was about 5
How about this idea if the dog runs & jumps @ you pull it's front legs aprt as hard as you can this will force apart it's rib cage, or if the fooker has got hold of your arm/leg then stick your finger up it's ass.
I'll raise you this buff!

Had a fight with this one earlier this year.. Only play fighting but he certainly showed me what he is capable of.
Having 12 stone of dog running at you growling with teeth showing is a pretty sure way of turning your trousers brown. Did me and he was just messing. I dread to think what he would do if someone attacked his owners kids. (Very protective of them both)

Depends what dog your are facing a guess.
If I was in the case, I would not run for a start. As it would chase you and clamp itself to your leg, then you would be knackered on the floor.
I guess I would just punch and kick the dog best I could. Try and get help.
Perhaps so, but he's (a) very strong and (b) insane. He has the same capacity for mindless violence that dogs have - to act with total violence, without thought and without feeling any pain. We all do, but not to the same extent. Dogs don't have it to the same extent that he does.Charles Bronson, "the most dangerous man in Britain", became a bareknuckle fighter in one of his very few periods of freedom. A group of gippo`s once paid him good money to fight a rotty to the death. He says he shoved his hand down it`s throat and choked it to death.
Wrong.How about this.

and it will then back down and retreat. Or maybe call your bluff and kill you. There's a man in Africa who does it with elephants when necessary - he takes tourists out for photographs and sometimes the bull of the herd will take umbrage. So let me get this straight. You are walking on the street, where you make eye contact with:
[Big dog]
That brute is not on a leash, would appear to have been abandoned and is staring right at you, growling. You look left. You look right. You look behind. There is no human in sight. It begins to charge you.
Are you honestly telling me you wouldnt run?
