A few years ago a shared a flat with a friend and his missus, he had a pitbull cross/rottie. if he went for you, you would have no chance, he was only about 9st but pure muscle.
all these tactics I have been reading on this thread would not work, he would just laugh at you and carry on biting, we used to play with him and the power he had was shocking, way stronger than me and I am not small.
Only problem was taking him out because if he saw another fightning dog he was on their case.
someone posted about a pitball against a Akika well an Akita had a go at Boss, it didn't stand a stand, he soon had it pinned. think an Akita is a much better weapon against a person than a decent fighting dog.
 
Definatley the best way is to force your arm down its throat, that way you can grab some of its vital organs and pull them out. It dont matter how big the dog is that will stop it.

It will definately be messy so try not to use this technique indoors.

My parents had our Great Dane trained by some bloke who used to train dogs in the Police. Basically if you say a special word, she would go for the neck. We thought it would teach her some discipline but the fact that she raided the fridge the night before the New Year showed us just how wrong we were :p

Seen her in action a few times during training and definitely wouldn't be on the receiving end.

Thats most probably the real dog, there was one probably that size or bigger that used to live behind you when we were younger, big white one.

Ive noticed that it seems to be taking multiple bullets to put these dogs down. Are the Police/Soldiers bad shots or something? I refuse to believe that any animal on Earth can get up from taking a bullet in the brain. It would have to be an extraordinary occurrance for this to happen.

That cross breed sounds like a lethal combination. It should not only be larger than a Pitbull Terrier, but also more aggressive and a better fighter than a Rottwieler.

However, are you suggesting that while it has its teeth locked onto your arm, 2 fingers shoved all the way into its eye sockets would not stop it? I'm beginning to think that people believe that dogs are mythical creatures made from magic and witchcraft. Guys, these are animals and pretty much all animals can be killed without weaponry.

If any animal had its eyeballs penetrated, it would no longer be capable of continuing an attack and would almost certainly die as a result of its injuries.
