FIIO Olympus 2 + AD700x

Good Morning.

As per the title; I have both the FIIO Olympus 2 + AD700x and I want to be sure I'm maximising what I've got. Is there anything else I should be doing/considering (e.g. software, settings etc) to get the best out of the setup? I primarily use it for competitive-gaming (e.g. I play to win, not I get paid to play sadly!) / light music / youtube.

The FIIO Olympus 2 is plugged in to my PC via USB in to the 'DAC' USB port on the Gigabyte z170 Gaming 7 motherboard.

I'm running windows 10 64bit.

The only thing that may be better, would be to use something that provides surround sound effects; Dolby Headphone, SBX etc. I say may, because that's something not everyone likes. Some people prefer just plain stereo with no positional effects. Some games have that built in though, when selecting the headphones in the game's audio settings.

Razer have some software that can do this, which I believe is free. I don't know how good it is compared to DH or SBX, but at least it allows for something like that to be tried without having to buy hardware to provide that; which could end up being a waste of money, if you don't get on with this positional sound stuff.

It lacks Dolby Headphones echo and bass bloat but seems to twist frequency reponse to hell and beyong but without CMSS-3Ds performance.
