Down under mate!
When I open photo's to view them Windows picture fax viewer opens up then if I click on the edit button Paint shop pro then open's for editing BUT since upgrading to SP2 if I click on edit Windows paint opens for editing the pictures instead of PSP.

How do I change it back please?

Thundy.

press "shift", r.click on file
select "open with"
"chose program"
select proggie, tick text box "always use this program to open these files"

That will set it to open the program and edit it in one program.
XP is good how it handles filetypes and allows the user to customise this area nicely.

The easiest way to do it is

> control panel
> folder options
> file types
> scroll down to the image extension you want to edit and click advanced

My example is for jpeg images to be opened with photoshop when I right click then select edit, the open command loadsit in windows picture viewer by default. You can add as many "edit with" entires as you like for diff apps etc and it can be done for ay filetype in any application as long as the "%1" tag is used as shown.

If you require further assistance then just ask :)
