File Explorer Crashing

Hi

Just built a Win 10 machine which has been running great. After I opened up Cyberlink Media Expresso and Vob merge Windows Explorer crashes. It could just be a coinicidence that it's happened after opening these 2 programes.

Anyone else experiencing this crash?

I don't use those programs, but it may be worth running the following from an administrative command prompt:

chkdsk c:

sfc /verifyonly

 

[bledd]

Run ccleaner and see what is listed under Context menu items. could be a crappy Explorer hook dll.

Programs that add stuff to your 'right click' menu or create video thumbnails are the usual cause of explorer crashing.
