File format help

Doing alittle project for work and ive come across 2 questions im not sure about,

Q- In what format would you save the following and why?

b) A finished photographic image intended for use on the Web.

c) A finished image for commercial printing.

I think you would use a jpeg for the web? something to do with the low file size? but im not sure what and why for C)

Any ideas chaps

erm sorry should have said im not actually producing any images its just a writen project that im doing and those were the question im not sure about
