Hello all,

I am looking for a Software solution for managing my company's digital assets. At the moment, we have a vast amount of folders and files belonging to various people networked using Windows to navigate through all the files. What I would like to do, is centralise all these files so that they are accessible through the 1 Interface, and files can be 'tagged' for content. As a bonus, it would also be good if files could be version tracked automaticly and the old version archived - but this is a big want.

We have all sorts of files that would need to be supported, all the adobe product files (.ai .psd etc), all audio formats and office files.

If anyone can suggest such a system then please let me know!

Thankyou o/

Hmm not really, we have so many files that it would be inefficient to mirror all the files on each persons desktop wasting space. At the moment we have a central storage server (about 3tb of data) with a well organized structure. It's just really to streamline this a bit better and have the ability of adding more information about the files, and tracking files changes.

I've used MS Groove a few times for syncing work. It works well and has a built in chat so employees can talk about alterations to documents and are notified of changes and can either merge changes or save as.

I hope i've not grabbed the wrong end of the stick here ;) :D
