File/Media Server

Hi,

I need help trying to remember the name of a file server I came across a few months ago. The website was pretty flash and I think it ran under Fedora. It featured, upnp, automatic network backups, web interface with streaming and lots more. I remember being impressed by it and thinking "I'll rebuild my file server with this"

Well now I've come to rebuilding my file server and I can't remember the site or it or even find it with numerous google attempts, its really frustrating! So I'm looking for suggestions of what it could be...

http://www.freenas.org/ maybe? Perfect for a file server anyway.

Sounds like it could be ClarkConnect: http://www.clarkconnect.com/index.php

Openfiler is another possibility (not based on RedHat/Fedora/CentOS though).

Its not FreeNAS or ClarkConnect which I am in fact currently using. Its fine as a file server but I'm looking for more than that and this software I came across seemed to have all the mod cons.

I'm pretty sure it wasn't a distro...

and a few others I can't remember! Maybe I dreamt this!

Maybe not - I reckon it could be this: Amahi Home Server

Your right, I'm pretty sure Amahi was it and even if it wasn't it does what I want!

Thanks a lot, I was thinking I'd never find it again, that'll teach me to use bookmarks more.
