File passworded in python

Hey,

I am thinking of making a file passworded in python, i don't know python 100% yet but i know the basics.

I am looking for someone more advanced to push me in the right direction.

All i am after is to add a password to one file "game.exe" to stop my brother playing the game.

Has to work under vista 32bit in the end product.

Any ideas?

You will need to use encryption to 'password a file'.

I would recommend the AES-256 algorithm, im sure there are loads of python implementations for using it, here for example: http://www.josh-davis.org/pythonAES or here: http://www.example-code.com/python/encryption.asp
