Hi There,
I've just setup my home file server with fedora core 5 after having used core 3 on this machine previously.
For some reason the permissions to allow my windows box to add files has gone a bit awry, the windows box can add files and folders in the root of the mounted drive but not in any of the existing sub folders. I'd guess this is an ownership problem rather than a read/ write/ execute permissions issue.
With this in mind what command can I run on the linux box to give full read. write/ execute permissions and ownership to all the windows users on my network?
Many thanks for any help,
E-I
